What is R.O.A.D.?
R.O.A.D. acronym for “Rural Outreach Access Days”, an outreach program run through Jacaranda Clubhouse to provide access to those members of the Ipswich & West Moreton Community who are located in more rural areas and townships and often isolated from larger towns due to a lack of transport, many of these members find great value in the daily structure and social atmosphere of Clubhouse. Clubhouse can make it easier to gain a structured schedule, and a wide variety of new skills and support with employment and related needs.
Who is ROAD for?
ROAD is perfect for individuals seeking somewhere to go and be part of a productive environment. Here at clubhouse we learn many new skills and sharpen up on the ones we already have; including social activities, cooking skills, computer skills and job search training. If it is difficult for you to reach local townships or there is a lack of public transport in your area, ROAD may be the program for you.
